The Miami Dolphins scored on a three yard touchdown from Daniel Thomas to tie the Seattle Seahawks 14-14 mid way through the fourth quarter. The score came on a seven play, 82 yard drive.
The Dolphins were assisted on the drive by a roughing the passer penalty. Ryan Tannehill threw a horrible ball into the end zone, right to the Seahawks on an interception. However, the play was negated when Earl Thomas, who had jumped to try to block the pass as it came out of Tannehill's hand, hit the "defenseless" quarterback in the head.
The Dolphins turned that penalty into the seven points to even the game. The Seahawks had the momentum heading into the fourth quarter, and were looking to put Miami away.
