Fantasy Football: The Extra Point Poll

XFINITY Sports Guy Austin Schindel returns with his weekly fantasy football question. Each week, Schindel asks a question to several of the NFL blogs. Whichever blog gets the most questions correct at the end of the year will have a donation made to the charity of their choice by XFINITY. This week's question looks at Demaryius Thomas and Cecil Shorts.

This week's edition of The Extra Point Poll presented by XFINITY is here. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and will be ready for a second helping of football action on Sunday. Before we delve into this week's poll participants, here are the top Twitter stories leading in to the weekend games.

The @packers and @Giants face off in a rematch of last year's NFC Divisional Round game. Will this be a 2012 playoff preview?

While Jim Harbaugh tries to figure out which QB to start, the red hot @Saints try to keep their winning streak alive against the #49ers.

The @Atlanta_Falcons have played poorly the last two weeks & going on the road to division rival @TBBuccaneers could pose a challenge.

Carson Palmer returns to Cincinnati to face his old team, the @Bengals. The crowd knows Palmer is INT prone and hoping to see a couple on Sunday.

In Week 11, it was a clash of proficient passing quarterbacks that came down to the wire between Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford. Stafford went 17-39 for 266 yards and one touchdown pass, while Rodgers was a bit more accurate, going 17-29 for 236 yards and two touchdown passes. Even though Rodgers and the Packers came out on top on the scoreboard, Stafford gets the nod for winning the week's Extra Point Poll.

In this week's Extra Point Poll presented by XFINITY, we will take a look at two wide receivers that are must starts for fantasy owners looking to lock up a coveted fantasy playoff position. This week's question features Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas versus Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts. Thomas will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs who have been competitive in recent weeks despite their 1-9 record. Thomas has accumulated 57 receptions for 933 yards and five scores thus far this season. On the other side, Cecil Shorts is still a relatively unknown commodity, but has been hot of late, with three of his five TDs and both of his 100+ yard receiving games coming in the last five weeks. Shorts will line up against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.

So, which wide receiver will have the most receiving yards in Week 12: Demaryius Thomas or Cecil Shorts? Vote now!
