Let's Pretend We're the Dolphins' Front Office (No, Seriously)

The number of Dolphins fans second-guessing this regime is at an all-time high right now (and rightfully so), and everyone here has their own opinion of what decisions should be made between now and next offseason.

Well, guess what: you get to make those decisions.

Yep, that's right. You. The Dolphins fan sitting at home, throwing darts at pics of Nick Saban and Randy Mueller. You're in charge now, and this franchise is at your mercy. Be gentle or be ruthless. Whatever works for you.

So what's it going to be? Fire Sparano now? Keep him for the rest of the season and then fire him? Trade some of our defensive line depth for draft picks? Trade Brandon Marshall before he starts punting footballs in practice? You can do anything; the choice is yours. And be sure to let everyone know the head coach you'll be targeting in the offseason.

The only real rule is this: if you trade for draft picks, identify what you expect to get in return, and then give everyone an idea of which positions you intend to use those picks on.

Let's see what you've got. The member who lays out the best (i.e., most articulate and developed) plan for this franchise will get a mention from me in my college prospect post Thursday morning (that's power you cannot buy, folks!).

Let the fire sale begin!
