Tune in to the 2011 NFL Draft on NFL Network
It's hard to believe we've finally reached this point. Back in early March, I posted the first edition of this series of posts - which gives a snapshot of who the top draft analysts think the Miami Dolphins will draft. Over these past two months, we've seen momentum slow regarding a particular running back while momentum has grown for a particular Florida offensive lineman.
This morning, let's see if what some of the most respected mock drafts are saying. The newly expanded list of over 30 mock drafts is below...

Trends
(Denotes any changes since last update)
Mike Pouncey: 51% (+)
Mark Ingram: 16% (-)
Ryan Mallett: 13% (+)
Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder, Colin Kaepernick, Andy Dalton, Aldon Smith: 3% each
Well look what has happened in a span of two weeks. Florida's Mike Pouncey has become the overwhelming favorite of draft analysts across the country. The number of mocks sending Pouncey to Miami has doubled in two weeks. And if you go back to a month ago, Pouncey's rise is even more remarkable.
Back on March 31, less than 4% of the mocks had the Dolphins taking Pouncey. Today? Over 50% of them like Pouncey as the 15th overall pick. What does this mean? Probably that Pouncey will not be the pick.
After all, when was the last time the majority of mock drafts actually correctly predicted the Dolphins first round pick?
It's also worth noting that nearly 30% of the mocks have the Dolphins selecting a quarterback in round one. Again, not that it means anything. Just an interesting trend.
