The 4th best Miami Dolphins draft pick of all time is...
Jake Scott, who was a 1970 7th round pick, 159th overall.
Long before Dan Marino put on the #13 jersey, there was another all-time great wearing 13 in Miami - roaming the defensive backfield with Dick Anderson and forming one of the greatest safety tandems in NFL history.
Scott spent six seasons with the Dolphins. All he did during his time with the Dolphins was pick off 35 passes (a team record), reach five Pro Bowls, earn first-team All-Pro honors twice, and win the Super Bowl MVP award in 1972 - capping the perfect season.
All told, Scott intercepted 49 passes (including his three years in Washington), placing him in the top 40 of all-time while being part of back-to-back Super Bowl Championship teams.
