The #2 Miami Dolphins Draft Bust of All Time is...
Ted Ginn Jr, who was a 2007 1st round pick, 9th overall.
Ten years after the Yatil Green disaster, new head coach Cam Cameron tried to fill Miami's need for a speed receiver by reaching for the former Ohio State speedster. Right off the bat, the odds were stacked against Ginn becoming a popular player in Miami, as fans were stunned at the pick.
Of course, those same fans wanted Cameron to select quarterback Brady Quinn, who has been a bust as well. Still, the Dolphins could have drafted linebacker Patrick Willis, who instantly has become a star in this league. Instead, we got stuck with a receiver who was scared to get hit and who came down with a serious case of the "dropsies" towards the end of his Dolphins career.
After three seasons in Miami, Ginn was traded for a fifth round draft pick. And all us fans have to remind us of the Ted Ginn era is this wonderful video.
