Official Phinsider Fantasy Football: The winners of our lottery

Well I'm back from vacation and though it's never fun to come back to reality after a week off, there's a lot to be excited about. Training camp begins in less than a week and the regular season is just around the corner. That's right - after a long wait, football is back.

A lot transpired this past week and I'll share my two cents on everything over the next few days. I also have to thank LeftCoastFinFan for doing an outstanding job while I was away. It's not easy coming up with idea to write about and it's definitely not easy trying to juggle your "real job" along with the responsibilities of running a blog like this. But Lefty did a great job of it.

Onto the point of this post. As you know, we are once again running a Phinsider Fantasy Football League. And this year we are using to host our league. It will be a 12 team league and the draft will be a live online draft that is tentatively scheduled for Sunday August 22 at 7:30 eastern time.

With myself and LeftCoastFinFan - last year's champ - taking up two of the 12 spots, ten spots were up for grabs. The spots were awarded to the winners of a lottery I held. The ten winners to join our official league are:

Blaze453, FingerBang, moose1963, jaydee617, Tree2691, FishNFinz, uncle finster, Ex Sniper, JayGatorPhin, and mrwheat.

If you are one of the ten above, please e-mail me by this Friday so I can give you the details on signing into our league. If I haven't heard from you by Friday, I will give your spot to somebody else.

So what if you weren't lucky in our lottery and wasn't selected to join our free league? That's fine. You can just sign up and run your own fantasy football league on using their outstanding Fantasy Football Commissioner product. If you sign up your league through this link I'm providing, you will receive 50% off - meaning you can use their Fantasy Football Commissioner for just $89.99 - which amounts too just $7.50 per team in you are running a 12 team league. That's nothing considering how insanely customizable their leagues are and how accurate their live scoring is - no matter how complicated your scoring system is.

And remember,  you can tell anyone you know who runs a fantasy league of their own - even if they're not regular readers of our site or even Dolphin fans - that they can run their league on for just $89.99 - as long as they use this link to sign up their league.

For those of you who don't want to pay even this ridiculously discounted price when there are free sites available, consider this:

  • offers 24/7 live support if you have any questions or if any problems arise
  • Yahoo! doesn't offer keeper leagues or league record book
  • Yahoo! and ESPN only allow up to 20 teams while offers up to 30 team leagues
  • Yahoo! does have set limits on scoring systems
  • Yahoo! nor ESPN allow league homepage customization - including video content and headlines
  • ESPN doesn't let you pick what day lineups lock

The bottom line: there's a reason does charge for use of their Fantasy Football Commissioner: because it's the best out there. If you and your buddies are serious about fantasy football, give this product a shot. You'll love it.

And if you were one of the ten to luck out in our lottery to join our official Phinsider league, make sure you e-mail me by Friday. is an SB Nation partner and paying sponsor of the SB Nation football communities. This post is one of a series of sponsor endorsed posts relating to the Fantasy Football Commissioner League.
