The NFL released it's schedule earlier tonight. And while many speculated that the Dolphins would open the 2010 regular season against the Jets on Monday Night, it turns out that is not the case. Instead, the Dolphins will kickoff 2010 in Buffalo against the Bills.
Their home opener, though, is probably the biggest story of the schedule. They will host the Jets in week three in prime time - on a nationally televised Sunday night game. I wonder what kind of reception Jason Taylor will receive.

All in all, not a bad schedule. I like getting Green Bay out of the way early. But the Dolphins still have to close the year with two cold weather games in December - New York in week 14 and New England in week 17.
But those final seven games of the season are really not too bad at all. It'll be important for the Dolphins to get off to a good start because I think they have a chance to finish very strong, closing with Chicago, Oakland, Cleveland, Buffalo and Detroit to go along with those two cold weather divisional games.
But keep in mind that we have no idea how each team will shape up year-to-year. So there's really no telling how difficult this schedule may or may not be.
