Comcast back as official SBN sponsor

New, comments

If you were around last season, then you know that Comcast was one of our major sponsors here at The Phinsider. Well they have recognized the power and reach of the SB Nation NFL blogs and will be back as a sponsor for the remainder of 2010.

Why Comcast? It makes perfect sense. One of the biggest cable providers in the country partnering with the biggest and best network of sports blogs. And NFL fans should love Comcast. The cable provider gives NFL fans football coverage 24/7 - with the NFL Network, the popular NFL Redzone channel on football Sundays, and NFL Network on Demand - which has lots of good stuff including player profiles on the top 100 prospects in next month's draft.

And let's not forget all of the NFL Network's preseason coverage. For those who don't live in the Miami area, you can catch every Dolphins preseason game re-aired the following week.

Of course, there's more than just NFL coverage on Comcast. Their sports line-up offers things like MLB Extra Innings (a must for baseball fans like myself who are not in their favorite team's market), ESPNU (which features college football and basketball coverage, among other sports) and NBA League Pass (for those who need to follow their favorite NBA team).

So I'd like to thank Comcast for their support of SBN and the NFL blogs. It's partnerships like this will help make SBN bigger and better!
