Though it's been a disappointing season for the team as a whole, two Miami Dolphins were honored today by being named as starters on the AFC Pro Bowl team.
Jake Long was selected to his third career Pro Bowl - his second as a starter. Cameron Wake, meanwhile, was named to his first career Pro Bowl in his first season as a full time starting outside linebacker.
For Long, this honor is becoming an annual routine. For Wake, though, it's particularly special. After failing to catch on out of Penn State, Wake's NFL dream nearly died. But after two stellar seasons as a pass rusher in the CFL, Wake got a second chance at an NFL career with the Dolphins. After picking up 5.5 sacks in limited action a year ago, Wake leads the NFL in sacks with 14 this season.
This could be the first of a couple of honors for both. Long and Wake are also legitimate All-Pro candidates - which are announced after the season.

Congrats to Jake Long and Cameron Wake on their very much deserved honor!
