Will this week finally be the week that the Dolphins win consecutive games for the first time since opening the season 2-0? Or will the same roller coaster ride continue?
Let's see what some writers and analysts think:
|Adam Schefter - Buf||Chris Mortensen - Mia||Tom Jackson - Mia|
|Ron Jaworski - Mia||Peter King - Buf||Mike Florio - Mia|
|Gregg Rosenthal - Mia||Jason Cole - Mia||Pete Prisco - Mia|
|Solomon Wilcots - Mia||Brian Baldinger - Mia||Michael Lombardi - Mia|
You probably remember a couple of weeks ago when I said I never feel comfortable when an overwhelming majority of "experts" pick the Dolphins. The Dolphins went on to lay an egg and lose at home to Cleveland. So to say I'm overly confident about Sunday's game would be a lie.
Keep in mind that the Dolphins lost at home to a Browns team that the Bills beat last week. Does that mean anything? No. Just a fascinating situation. The Dolphins could potentially lose two games in a mini round robin with the Browns ans Bills. Who would have thunk it?
Peter King's brief explanation for taking the Bills is rather interesting. He writes:
This says a lot about my trust in Fred Jackson (5.5 yards per rush in his career against Miami) and Ryan Fitzpatrick, even though the Dolphins D has been playing great. And it says a lot about my lack of faith in Chad Henne.
And yet I can't argue with that logic. Fitzpatrick and Jackson have outplayed Henne and Brown this year.
Still, I believe the Dolphins will find a way to win this game. They have too much on the line here to lose a game against a feisty but below average Bills team.
