It's "now or never" time for the Dolphins this week as they return home to face the Titans. Miami continues to look for their first home win of the season. In fact, they haven't won at home since December of 2009 when the Dolphins beat the Patriots by a point. Will this week be the week the Dolphins finally find some "home cooking?" Let's see what the media thinks:
Chris Mortensen - Ten | Adam Schefter - Mia | Ron Jaworski - Mia |
Tom Jackson - Ten | Peter King - Mia | Mike Florio - Ten |
Gregg Rosenthal - Ten | Pete Prisco - Mia | Jason Cole - Ten |
Solomaon Wilcots - Mia | Michael Lombardi - Ten | Brian Baldinger - Ten |
Not much love from the national media once again this week. And I can't say I blame them. I'd imagine most fans outside of Dolphin fans are picking the Titans as well.
With that said, I believe that this team is finally going to get their first home win of the season. I believe that Brandon Marshall is going to break out against Tennessee's corners and with the more accurate Chad Pennington throwing to him. And I expect to see the play-action passing game become more effective. CP10's play0action fakes are among the best in the business - especially compared to those of Chad Henne.
Part two of the CP10 era begins tomorrow. And for all of the debate that's been going on since the change was made by Tony Sparano, I still believe that when push comes to shove, every Dolphins fan will be down with CP10.
I know I am. And that's why I'm not only predicting a win - I'm expecting one.
GO DOLPHINS!!!
