"The Matty Awards" - Voting, Part 1

The time is finally here. We will begin voting on the winners of the 2nd annual "Matty Awards."

Before I get into the voting process, let me just say something real quick. Some people might not like these awards and think that it's taking up valuable front-page space. That's fine - everyone's entitled to their opinion, that's for sure.

I'm not asking for everyone to love these awards. I'm just simply hoping you understand why I've taken the time to do this. This site isn't successful because of me or any one thing I did. It's successful because of the over 3,000 other members. And this is just my way to make sure those who help make this site great are recognized.

Oh - and if you like polls but don't like these awards, we will be inducting our inaugural class of Dolphin greats into the "Phinsider Sidebar of Honor" later this offseason.

Now that we got that disclaimer out of the way, let's get to voting. The first five awards we're voting on are:

The Mercury Morris Front-page Frontrunner Award - given to the blogger with the most and/or best front-paged fanposts. Bonus points for rec's.

The Channing Crowder Lost In Translation Award - given to the blogger who has best overcome the language barrier between their first language and the English language.

The Cameron Wake Crossing the Border Award – given to the best blogger whose permanent residence is outside the United States and its territories.

The Bryan Cox Award - given to the most passionate/borderline psychotic blogger.

The Garo Yepremian Funny Like a Clown Award - given to the funniest blogger.

The nominees and voting tool can be found after the jump (so as to not clog up the front page too much).  Voting for these 5 awards closes on Monday at 10:30 pm eastern.  Happy voting and good luck to the nominees...

Note: There is no "campaigning" within 100 feet of the polls (aka - anywhere on this website).
