Well yesterday's games went as most expected. And now if the two favored teams win again today, we'll have two very exciting games to watch next weekend.
Vikings vs Cowboys, 1:00, FOX
The Cowboys won their first playoff game in fifteen years last week. And just like that, it seems like they are suddenly the favorites in the NFC - according to the media, at least. But we can't forget about how dominant the Vikings were at times during the regular season. Minnesota may have lost 3 of their last five. But their offense is more explosive than Dallas' and I trust Brett Favre in a big game far more than Tony Romo.
Pick: Vikings 23-20
Chargers vs Jets, 4:40, CBS
This is the game that many here, including myself, can't wait to see. Like all of you, I'll be rooting hard for San Diego to just destroy the Jets. But New York's defense will keep this game close. If the Jets can get their running game going, this game could very well come down to the fourth quarter. But even if that does happen, San Diego's offense is just too explosive. I think Antonio Gates and Darren Sproles will be the two difference makers as the Chargers (my preseason Super Bowl pick) move to the AFC Championship.
Pick: Chargers 20-10
Enjoy the games, everyone!
