Dolphins practice squad taking shape (official)

The Dolphins have completed their eight player practice squad.  The players are below:

OL Mark Lewis - Rookie out of Oregon, Lewis can play all three interior line positions

DE Ryan Baker - Baker is an ideal 3-4 defensive end thanks to his size (6'5, 295) and strength.  He's a rookie out of Purdue.

LB J.D. Folsom - Folsom is the only 2009 Dolphins draft pick to not make the 53 man roster.  But he performed surprisingly well in camp and earned this spot.

CB Will Billingsley - Billingsley was one of the team's final cuts.  He spent 2008 on Miami's practice squad as well.  He has a ton of speed, but is still a work in progress.

WR James Robinson - Robinson was signed in August by the Dolphins.  He's from the CFL and has great speed, but is very raw.

WR Julius Pruitt - Only player who wasn't with the Dolphins during camp to be named to their practice squad.  The Dolphins worked him out in August, but signed Robinson over him.  He's a rookie out of Ouachita Baptist and measures in at 6'2, 206.  He ran a 4.40 40 yard dash at his pro day workout.

OL Nate Garner - Garner was released by the Dolphins yesterday but was unclaimed on waivers.  Glad to have him back.

LB Danny Lansanah - Lansanah was an undrafted free agent out of UConn last year and played in five games with Green Bay in 2008.
