Dolphins vs Bills: Prediction Time

The Dolphins and Bills will battle on Sunday in Buffalo. Here are who the "experts" are picking:

Chris Mortensen - Mia Adam Schefter - Mia Ron Jaworski - Mia
Tom Jackson - Mia Mike Ditka - Mia Peter King - Mia
PFT - Mia Charles Robinson - Mia Jason Cole - Mia
Pete Prisco - Mia Harmon Forecast - Mia Michael Silver - Mia

Like I've said before, I'm always a little uneasy when "everybody" is picking the Dolphins to win the game. But under Tony Sparano, the Dolphins are 6-1 when Las Vegas labels the Dolphins as the "favorite." So I expect Sparano and his staff to have this team ready to go.

So what's my prediction? Well I'm always a little leery when the Dolphins travel up to Buffalo - which is why I was thrilled last year that the game was played in a dome in Toronto in December. But the weather isn't looking like it'll be a big factor and I'm confident that the Dolphins will be able to wear down the Bills - especially in the second half - with Ricky Williams and Lex Hilliard. Defensively, I expect the Dolphins to get pressure consistently on the passer and limit any big downfield pass attempts. With that said, while some Dolphin fans are expecting a blowout, I think this game will be tight until the fourth quarter. Dolphins 27, Bills 13

Brian Galliford of Buffalo Rumblings also likes the Dolphins tomorrow:

Buffalo's big problem is its inability to find balance offensively. When they can run, they can't pass, and vice versa. That's not going to change any time soon, so either the running backs will have good days, or the receivers will - not both. Either way, the Bills are good for 10-15 points, and Miami's offense is perfectly suited to wearing down Buffalo's injury-depleted defense and putting up that many points in the second half. It's happened several times this season, and my guess is we'll get more of the same tomorrow. Dolphins 26, Bills 14

My Week 12 Locks
Dolphins -3.5 over Bills
- Like I said, I expect the Dolphins to win this game by at least a touchdown.
Seahawks -2.5 over Rams - The Rams have been playing better but they are banged up and will be without Marc Bulger.
Colts -3.5 over Texans - The Colts have been barely surviving in games the past couple of weeks. But I think they'll put together a full 60 minutes on Sunday and win this game comfortably.

Last Week: 2-1-1
Season: 17-17-1
