Well we don't have a Dolphins game to watch on Sunday. But I still have my "locks" for week six that I need to post. And for the first time this year, I actually had a winning week last week, going 2-1 with my "locks." Of course, I'm still under .500 for the year - which is unacceptable.
Before I get to the picks, let's just touch on the division. Unfortunately, both the Patriots and Jets should win their games this week. The Pats host the winless Titans while the Jets host the Bills. We could hope against hope that at least one of these two get knocked off. But I just don't see it.
So let's get to my "locks" - which have been anything but locks so far this year. And I'll throw in a bonus pick since it is the bye week.
My Week 6 Locks
Vikings -2.5 over Ravens - The Ravens can be run on - as shown by the Bengals last week. And I think Minny's offense will be too much for Baltimore.
Saints -2.5 over Giants - I've been very impressed with the Saint defense this year. I think they'll slow NY's rushing attack and Drew Brees will make enough plays to pull of the win in week 6's best game.
Cardinals +2.5 over Seahawks - Seattle was impressive last week. But the Cardinals played well against Houston last week and I think that Arizona will put up some points against Seattle' defense - a unit that has over-achieved so far this year.
Eagles -13.5 over Raiders - I usually don't like laying this many points on a team traveling from the east coast to the west coast. But the Raiders are terrible and the Eagles are beginning to hit their stride.
Last Week: 2-1
Season: 5-7
