I'd like to take a second to introduce to you all Brian Barkey. Brian is, among other things, a cartoonist - having done some major work for Major League Soccer, having some of his cartoons published in the MLS's national magazine. He's also a teacher and a published writer. And you can see his work at his website, BarkeyCreative.
I bring this up because Brian has contacted me about doing some cartoons to help lighten up the mood here for us. Considering he's an immensely talented guy, I jumped at the opportunity. Below is his first cartoon - which I think is rather self-explanatory.
