The first of two practices today has just concluded. As always, below are some of the practice reports:
PALM BEACH POST PRACTICE REPORT
Highlights include:
-A new player on the field, wearing #30 (no, it's obviously not Terry Glenn) - new player is CB Chris Roberson
-Ikechuku Ndukwe is working with 1st team at RG
-Ronnie Brown isn't wearing a sleeve over knee anymore
-CB Scorpio Babers has been waived
-In QB/WR drills, John Beck looks "real good"
-Lots of deception being used by defense, with LBs dropping into coverage and CBs blitzing
-Beck has "looked good" on short and intermediate routes
-Josh McCown had a "shaky" practice
MIAMI HERALD PRACTICE REPORT
Highlights include:
-Brandon Fields having a great day
-Too many dropped passes
-Will Allen continues to blanket his man in coverage
-Neither McCown or Beck looked "stellar"
SUN-SENTINEL PRACTICE REPORT
Highlights include:
-Contrary to PBP report, it's Donald Thomas working with 1st team at RG
-Ndukwe is seeing time at tackle
-Darilek also practicing at both guard and tackle
-Derek Hagan continues to be "best receiver on the field"
-Jalen Parmele continues to stand out
-Will Billingsley "looking sharp"
