McKelvin received 57% of the vote, with Aqib Talib in second place (12%) and Mike Jenkins in third (10%).

So here are the 5 most recent picks in this draft:

  2. Carolina Panthers - Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois (32%)
  3. Chicago Bears - Chris Williams, OT, Vanderbilt
  4. Detroit Lions - Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon

Up next, with the 17th overall pick, are the Minnesota Vikings.  The Daily Norseman has all the insight and analysis you could want on the Vikings.  Also, below are the Vikings' draft needs, courtesy of NFL Draft Countdown:

1. Defensive End: Erasmus James has been a big bust and Kenechi Udeze will miss at least the 2008 season while he battles leukemia so they're really in desperate need of a legitimate stud pass rusher.
2. Offensive Tackle: Ryan Cook played better in '08 but is far from entrenched at right tackle, Marcus Johnson's disppointed and they would be in huge trouble if something happened to Bryant McKinnie.
3. Defensive Tackle: Kevin Williams and Pat Williams are argurably the best set of defensive tackles in the league but Spencer Johnson bolted as a free agent so they will have to add some quality depth.
