Dolphins sign David Kircus

Rotoworld is reporting that the Dolphins have signed WR David Kircus to an undisclosed contract:

Dolphins signed WR David Kircus, formerly of the Broncos.

Not exactly a character signing. Kircus was charged with felony assault last August and didn't make Denver's roster. If the season began today, he'd be Miami's third receiver, but it shouldn't be that way by the summer.

It's odd that Bill Parcells would sign him considering he doesn't want any "thugs."  Kircus is 6'2, 192 and only has 15 career receptions in 3 NFL seasons.  At this point, he shouldn't be counted on for anything other than being another body for training camp.
