Fred Evans Released

I thought it was only going to be a matter of time, and the time has officially come.  Fred Evans has been released by the Dolphins.  This cut comes less than a week after he was arrested in South Beach for, among other things, battery on a police officer.

So what does this mean for the roster?  Well, it all but guarantees 4th round pick Paul Soliai's roster spot.  He's a promising young, huge rookie who will likely be the primary backup for Keith Traylor as the team's NT in the 3-4 defense.  It also means that Kevin Vickerson could very well make the team as well.  Vickerson is coming off of being named first team All-NFL Europa.

What do you guys think of Evans's release and how it will effect the roster?
