ProFootball Talk relays a report from Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald stating that Jake Long is believed to be seeking "at least $10 million a year" and the Fins are "pessimistic" about their chances of retaining him.
The Dolphins may be willing to offer that much money per year, but much of it will have to come in the form of incentives relating to health and performance. If Long is demanding that much in base salaries, then don't expect to see him back with the Dolphins next year based on the latest reports on negotiations.
