With the 15th pick in The Phinsider Community Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions select Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon.

Stewart received 29% of the vote, with Derrick Harvey getting 22% and Leodis McKelvin picking up 13%.

1. Cornerback: Eric Green and Rod Hood aren't shutdown types by any stretch and Antrel Rolle has officially made the move to safety. That means they're now severely lacking in both quality and depth.
2. Defensive End: Darnell Dockett is a perfect fit at defensive end in their 3-4 scheme but the Cards could still use an upgrade opposite him where Antonio Smith is, at best, merely an average NFL starter.
3. Running Back: Edgerrin James is nearing that dreaded 30 year old mark and has a lot of miles on his tires but even assuming that he can stay both healthy and productive a better backup is needed.

If McKelvin were available here

it would take the Cardinals 30 seconds to hand in their selection.

They'd have to clean themselves up afterwards if McKelvin fell to them.

and the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th best corners are left? If this actually happens, I'll be jumping up and down. I really think we should look at a corner with our first pick in the 2nd round. If we can somehow get Cason or Tracey Porter, it'll will be great. I took McKelvin here.
