Jets - 26th total offense (265.5), 29th rush offense (64.5), 20th pass offense (201), 25th scoring offense (13.5)

Jets - 24th total defense (367), 23rd rush defense (126), 22nd pass defense (241), 27th scoring defense (29)

Today's Inactives

Dolphins: RB Lorenzo Booker, LB Abraham Wright, FS Courtney Bryan, SS Donovin Darius, QB John Beck, DT/DE Rodrique Wright, NT Steve Fifita, and LB Zach Thomas

Jets: QB Marques Tuiasosopop, SS Abram Elam, LB Cody Spencer, OG Jacob Bender, TE Jason Pociask, DE Mike DeVito, TE Sean Ryan, and G/C Will Montgomery

3 Absolute Keys to the Game

1.Run the damn ball. Enough said!

2. Get pressure on Chad Pennington. We've talked about it a lot all week. The Jets have allowed the 2nd most sacks in the league (9) so far in this young season. The Dolphins, though, haven't gotten the kind of pressure we are used to seeing on the opposing quarterback. Today's game is a great time to start. And let's see something out of Joey Porter. His knee is feeling batter so it's time to step up and play better.

3. Win the turnover battle. The Dolphins are tied for the worst turnover margin in the league at -4. And we all know how frustrating it was last week seeing Trent Green play like total crap. Meanwhile, the Jets are much better in the turnover "game," with a turnover differential of -2. Let's see this defense force a few turnovers and this offense limit their stupid mistakes.

Prediction: Dolphins pull it out, winning a likely ugly game 16-13.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

**UPDATE**: Sickening. Back later with thoughts on this loss.

the part that worries me...
is key #1. However, the jets have a fairly miserable defense, so if Cam turns away from the run at any point, I think we mutiny :P

exactly
The Jets can be run on and Ronnie ran all over them last season.  So let's see Cam stick with the run!

I HATE Jason Allen
A 27 yard return by Ginn negated by an Allen penalty.  Changedthe field position game!

How do we not learn from our mistakes?
Multiple stupid penalties,a nd how teh hell do you let a hobbling QB run for a TD?

Ugh...
If the Dolphins drive me into alcoholism, I'm sending Wayne the bill

At least we gave it to Ronnie
I pretty much blame the coaching on this one.  That kick at the end of the 2nd half was really a bad call (or was it accident I forgot).  I can't believe we used that timeout to ice their kicker is the only reason they could have used it.
