The Palm Beach Post is reporting that the reason Joey Porter has missed the past 2 days of practice is to rest his right knee, which happens to be sore.  It's the same knee that underwent arthroscopic surgery last May.  Hopefully it isn't serious, as Dolphins officials do not believe it is.  However, doctors will evaluate the knee in the coming days.

Before this, Porter was reportedly looking very good in camp, showing his speed both rushing the QB as well as in pass coverage.  If that is the case, then I wouldn't think the knee is THAT much of an issue.  But that may just be wishful thinking.  Hopefully we hear some good news on the knee in the coming days.
