The Miami Dolphins added two more starters to the list of players not participating in practice this week due to injuries. Guard Shelley Smith and defensive tackle Randy Starks remained on the list dealing with keen and back injuries, respectively, while cornerback Cortland Finnegan (neck) and linebacker Koa Misi (ankle) joined them.
Misi had been limited in practice on Wednesday, his first practice since being injured against the New England Patriots in Week 1 of the season. Finnegan's neck injury was not listed on Wednesday's report.
The good news for the Dolphins is tight end Charles Clay moved from the non-participant list to limited in practice. Clay has been dealing with a knee injury all season.
The rest of the limited list all includes players on the Wednesday report, with defensive end Terrence Fede (knee), linebacker Jonathan Freeny (ankle), wide receiver Brandon Gibson (groin), linebacker Jelani Jenkins (abdomen), defensive tackle Anthony Johnson (shoulder), center Mike Pouncey (hip), guard Dallas Thomas (shoulder), guard Billy Turner (guard), wide receiver Mike Wallace (hamstring), linebacker Philip Wheeler (thumb), running back Damien Williams (ankle), and safety Jimmy Wilson all on the report.
Upgraded from Wednesday was linebacker Jordan Tripp, who moved from limited to a full participant with a chest injury. Offensive tackle Branden Albert (shoulder) and safety Walt Aikens (hand) both continue to be listed as full participants.
Running back Knowshon Moreno remains the only player ruled out of Sunday's game.
The Oakland Raiders list linebacker Sio Moore (ankle), quarterback Matt Schaub (non-injury), and wide receiver Rod Streater (foot) as non-participants in Thursday's practice. Linebacker Miles Burris was upgraded from non-participant to limited with a foot injury, joining cornerback Chmdi Chekwa (knee) and linebacker Nick Roach (concussion). Running back Maurice Jones-Drew (hand) and offensive tackle Matt McCants (knee) both were upgraded from limited to full participants in Thursday's practice.
