I think Ireland should put in a waiver claim, from what I am reading from patsies they are upset he left.
Father time wins again RT @adamschein Text from Garrard: "Having to call it quits. My knee is not holding up. Continuing to swell."

This should put to rest any lingering, "What if the Dolphins had kept Garrard despite his injury?" questions. Garrard injured his knee in a freak pool-side incident while watching his kids play during the week leading up to the first 2012 pre-season game. The non-contact knee injury knocked him out for the entire pre-season, with an estimated recovery time of about a month, and that left an opening for Ryan Tannehill to earn the starting job. Garrard was waived by the Dolphins the final week of pre-season, due to his knee being nowhere near 100%, and he went unsigned for the rest of the 2012 season, even after being medically cleared to play a few weeks into the season. His knee problems acting up this offseason after just a couple of days of practice at Jets mini-camp mean his career is likely over, even as a backup.
YES!!!!!! My dream comes true! This guy was a fan favorite in last year's draft and many of us, including myself got bummed when the Eagles drafted him in the sixth round last year. Well after he was waived early this week, Miami took a chance. I'm really rooting for this kid, not only is he is an aweosme jersey but I can't wait to see the Jets defensive backs get "McNutt'd on". -B
Interesting info. on one of the Phins. Check it out.
Now Chargers have announced that OLB Melvin Ingram tore his left ACL during this morning's Organized Team Activity (OTA).

Ingram is likely out for the year. He was expected to be a major source of pass rush for the Chargers as a sophomore. The Dolphins play the Chargers in week 11 (Sunday, November 17). We wish him the best of luck in his likely surgery and rehab.
Jelani Jenkins (LB), Caleb Sturgis (K), and Don Jones (CB/S) were all signed to their rookie deals. Still unsigned are Dion Jordan (DE), Jamar Taylor (CB), Will Davis (CB), Dion Sims (TE), Mike Gillislee (RB), and Dallas Thomas (OG/OT).
