Monday Night Random Live Thread

This is one of our nightly live threads. This means that you are welcome to discuss any subject that you wish but in keeping with the rules of the site we ask that you refrain from the discussion of politics and religion. Please remember that this thread takes place on the front page of the site, is not a CKC and as such try to keep things as near to PG as possible. Keep this in mind with the posting of pics as well and we ask that you keep them to a maximum of 5 per person and do not post Gifs. This keeps the thread load time from slowing down for those on slower connections.

This is the fortieth post in a series of top 100 "debut" albums of all time. AKA the best first album of some of the best artist of all time. Like previously stated I will be skipping over a few selections along the way to save us from the obvious pain of listening to some crap. Tonight I will not jump any selections and go straight from 13 to 12. Tonight's selection at number 12 is the 1979 self titled debut from The Clash. Riding the wave of punk's popularity The Clash went on to be one of the most influential bands of all time.

This is one of our daily threads. One is posted each week day and then another one to cover Sat/Sun. We provide this as a place for Dolphins fans and even our friends from other blogs to come and talk all things football or otherwise. This is an open thread so if you see someone not talking football do not get offended but also do not be afraid to throw out your HSO's (hot sports opinions) out on the latest Dolphins move or non move.

As this is a day time thread and not a night time CKC please keep the conversation PG. Also I do not care if you post picks during these thread's but try and keep them at or below the maximum of three per person and as always place something in the subject line so that people may close them. Also please to not post very large images or GIF's. These rules are to keep the thread load time from slowing down for those on slower connections.

This is the thirty-ninth post in a series of top 100 "debut" albums of all time. AKA the best first album of some of the best artist of all time. Like previously stated I will be skipping over a few selections along the way to save us from the obvious pain of listening to some crap. Tonight I will jump one selection and go from 15 to 13. Tonight's selection at number 13 is the 1980 self titled debut from The Pretenders. No full album available so I will play the biggest hit from the album.

Once again we have another work week (for most of us) in the books. That mean's its time for the Victory Of The Week post. This is of course where you come and tell us what your victory/accomplishment/ect. of the week is. It can be a small thing all the way to something huge and life altering.

Remember this is open thread and as such any subject is on the table outside of religion and politics. Please keep picks to a minimum of 2 per person and no GIF's in any of the live threads. Also try your best to keep things as close to PG as possible as we are on the front page.

Its a bit over wrought for me but the kids like it a lot....

I Wish The Dolphins Had Gone This Route

I have as time has gone by gotten to the point where the new logo has grown on me enough that I can live with it but still do not love it like some of the other designs I saw thrown around by fans. As some of you know I am also a Texas Rangers fan and Mav's fan. Today owner Mark Cuban offered this up on his personal blog. It's a novel idea and I for sure like the way he has opened it up to the ones that matter the most. The fans!

Tonight I will will not be skipping any and will be going straight from 18 to number 17. Tonight's band is considered the best band ever by many even though I will always counter with the Stones and others will counter with Zeppelin (Also Nicky thinks that Brittany Spears is better so there is that as well). Of course I am talking about that little English band The Beatles and their 1963 debut "Please Please Me".
