Tannehill

Look; I for one did not know how he (Gase) was gonna shore up the deficiencies. Then Tunsil fell to us, we had multiple holes, but the cries for saving the QB, could be herd loudest, back for three years or more,

Tunsil was there when we picked, but Tannehill could have been killed two years ago. Take the Tunsil kid, I was thinking and it happened Great Googly Moogly we got him also, I did two back-flips.

When he (Tannehill) was sacked a record 400 times, Maybe not that many. but damn there was those darn Safety's, to start every game last year. It would seam, we were always starting from the hole.

I would love to say the words it's Miller time, & he always seamed to have a great play, or score, heck he was the best err second best out of the last two years running the rock,

Alas no more. some-one took my "Miller time" from Miami's, (backfield) and I fear i shall not see it return anytime soon. The starting running back Jay Ajayi, in a backfield without Lamar Miller, may just struggle.

Till he see’s the light of the blocks, that will be Gashing, & spreading, like dandelion seeds, on (the wind) in the summer of our dreams!

But when (Big) Dan Marino, at 6'4 came in, there was a Superbowl arsenal in front of him, (David Woodley) could not get the job done or take the team back to the dance. But Marino did.

No way Danny boy does that well "without the players that Woodley had" (Offensive & Defensive wise) to make that Superbowl the year before. But we keep losing Superbowl caliber players, one right after the other.

It all accumulated into one big mess and no more playoffs the Jags playoff game was an embarrassment but Danny boy had a great come back that year to even make.............

I'm always thinking; what can we do to make it over the next hurdle, even though our team was so very soft. We (Miami Dolphins) had excitement at every beginning of the new year, with all the wins in preseason.

Often times our dynamics took my eyes from our soft underbelly, I was always hoping we would carry this attitude over into the reg. season. But failure after failure has tempered my feelings toward this thought.

Now as a new season dawns, i get the (excitement back) i do love this feeling with a new great coach, at the lead. i'm just as optimistic as I've always been, just moreover.

I'm finding myself being sucked in to this wild new Rookie round-up, if you will. Kinda strategic if you ask me as it will save wear & tear on our players. But i question the muscle memory, it's all in the minds eye!
