Anticipation High, Expectations Higher

Another highly anticipated season is upon us. Once again the Dolphins have made some big moves in the offseason and expectations could not be higher. There is certainly a buzz amongst the fans. I wanted to create a list (in no particular order) of the things I am anxiously anticipating and expecting to see this year. Let me know in the comments what you guys think of my list and what you would add.

1. Tannehill's growth from year 3 to year 4. We all know the numbers. He continues to improve in every statistical category and word around camp is he is developing into quite the leader. I'd expect a great season from Tannehill this year with this fantastic supporting cast the front office has provided him.

2. A backfield featuring 1,000 yard back Lamar Miller and newcomer Jay Ajayi. Ajayi looks like an all-around threat. Lamar Miller even did some damage in the passing game last year. Combining these 2 backs, as well as Damien Williams. This could be a dangerous backfield.

3. The revamped receiving core of Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry, Greg Jennings, DeVante Parker, Rishard Matthews and Jordan Cameron/ Dion Simms. I mean, this can be a truly special group. It just so happens the Dolphins loaded up while Tannehill is going into what should be close to or at a pro bowl level if you consider his trajectory and new weapons. People have questioned if these moves made the offense better. Only time will tell, but on paper this looks like a more dangerous group in every way.

4. A D-line featuring Wake, Suh, and Vernon. As well as a pretty impressive rotation of DT's. Wake and Suh are two of the most dominant players are their respective positions and could be and most likely will be a nightmare for offenses. Ok, they definitely will be. This is pretty much a guarantee. I mean, Wake and Suh, on the same line. This makes me a happy.

5. If Miami can finally get over the mediocre hump and back to the playoffs. If they can't with this roster, I will have officially lost faith in this coaching staff. Mainly Phiblin.

6. How this offensive line will hold up. We all know the story of the guard position and it seems to be a concern. They either need to stand behind the guys we have on this roster or make a move as the season is fast approaching.
