No injuries: Other than good play and growth, the main goal for us should be to get all the horses to the starting line for New England. While I hope everyone plays hard, I also hope they play smart (especially the 1st teamers).
Jimmy Wilson looking like a starting caliber safety. Right now I must admit, I don't see it. Please prove me wrong Jimmy. If I were the GM, we would be signing some veteran that can give us 4 solid games until Jones gets back.
Dion Jordan making plays. I am a huge Dion Jordan fan, but now want to see him make something great happen. I believe he will become a beast, but am hoping it is this season. I think we should move him all over the field. If you have a freak athlete like him use him, don't label him into a box and force him to only be a 4-3 end.
Tannehill and the offense continuing to play in synch. I know we can't score TD's every possession, but I want to see us continue to look sharp for at least 3 possession before I start pulling guys.
Lamar Miller to continue to show he is the man. And if we are lucky another back to prove he is the next guy.
Will Davis or Jamar Taylor make a big play. I want to see these young guys show what we think they are capable of. Get a pick for us.
NO SACKS FOR THE FIRST GROUP. Sure would be nice to actually block well in the running game as well. I am liking the rookie RT and the rest of the group if they can continue to improve. Just get in the top 20 as an OL and I'm good.
More of the class of 2014. Landry, Tripp, McCain, Brackett and others continue to impress us. I'd love to see several young guys get on the 53.
LB's improving. We didn't look so good (and that is being nice) at the LB spot. I either want to see the current 3 really step up their game, or us look at a guy like Jenkins, Tripp or even McCain with the 1st group.
Pressure defense. More blitzes and sacks. We need to dominate the game with our front 4 (or 5-6 if we blitz). I want to see us get a little more creative in the pass rush game. Even just stunts with the front 4 would be good with me.
Here are a few other things that would just be icing on the cake: Wallace gets a 40+ yard catch, Landry gets 3-4 catches in the game, Gibson continues to look healthy, Finnegan gets a pick, Wake/OV/Jordan get a sack a piece, Thigpen gets another 40+ yard return in KO or Punt return, Moore/Devlin let the 2nd team guys actually catch a ball more than 5 yards downfield, and finally a TE grabs the #2 spot.
