Running Backs Coach - What does he do, and what has he done? I want to know.

Much of the blame for the rushing woes of seasons past have fallen on individual players, the Offensive coordinator, and the Offensive line coach. To the passerby it may look like the situation was handled, but we may have fallen short.

Should the Dolphins fail in establishing a decent run game come this season, nothing should be left unturned, and it should include the scrutiny of the immediate coaching the players are being subjected to. The lack of any mention to the Running backs coach, good or bad (I may have missed the posts), suggests the elusive coach has either slipped through the cracks of accountability, or he has done a fine job and there is nothing to worry about there. If things don't go well, another purging may be in order. But should we be satisfied with the knee jerk, postseason ejection of coaches when things go bad; the reactive approach? Hindsight, how about hiring coaches worthy of the job from the get go.

I do not know if Nixon is doing a good job or not, but I find it surprising that not many have brought him up. Perhaps it's not easy to measure his performance unless your his supervisor.
