2013 season review...Focus and Resiliency.

..So I just finished watching the NFL Networks review of the 2013 Phins... It got me thinking as I am sure that 99 percent of you all are..What will the 2014 team be? Going back to last year. It feels like just yesterday that the team was 3-0 going into the Monday night game at New Orleans. I don't think there were too many that had last years team pegged for a 3-0 start. But wow did it feel good. Of course there were some signs that we were winning despite some glaring deficiencies. But so what. Not many teams are perfect or complete after week 3, and we were 3-0 so the pundits could go suck it. Those were 3 great weeks. Now the next 5 were sort of a bummer, and the scandal that followed kind of added an un-needed distraction. But the team bounced back. And once again..the pundits were forced to eat a big pile of steaming poop as we, The Miami Dolphins were on the cusp of the unthinkable...The P word. Of course we know how the last 2 weeks played out. A good thing for the networks as they may have choked on their own vomit had the Phins made the tourney and they in turn forced to say something positive about this racist, poorly run, joke of a team that nobody cares about because it is too hot and there is to many other things to do then watch this garbage(run on sentence for effect).

Anyway. It got me thinking. The Phins were close last year. Much closer then I thought we would have been. As crazy as the year was, as many ups and downs, and disappointments. 2013 was a good year. Entertaining. The games for the most part were closely contested. Not always the prettiest, or what you would show an alien if you wanted to introduce the game. But exciting enough to go through the all the range of emotion during the 60 minutes of play. So thank you Dolphins. Thank you for the best 17 weeks of the year. Hopefully soon 1 season those 17 are turned Into 20 weeks. With the last one ending in a win!
