The Miami Dolphins have used the 19th overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft to pick Tennessee offensive tackle Ja'Wuan James. He should come into the team as a day one starter, but he's also someone not a lot of people immediately thought of as a first round pick.
Reports last week had the Dolphins giving him exactly that type of grade, so it really should not have been a surprise that the team selected him. They addressed their number one need, which could free up the team to have some flexibility to address other areas of the team later on in the Draft process.
