Projected 53 Man Roster

1. Ryan Tannehill

2. Matt Moore

3. Brock Jensen

This is pretty obvious. Tannehill as the starter, Moore as the dependable backup, and Jensen as the project QB who pushes Devlin out of the 3rd string position.

Running Back

1. Knowshon Moreno

2. Lamar Miller

3. Cameron Marshall

4. Marcus Theigpen

Competition is a must with this position. I pick Marshall and Theigpen over Thomas and Gillislee due to Thomas not proving to be a power back and Gillislee not playing at all last year. This position can be swayed a couple ways, with Marshall and Thomas switching positions.

Wide Receiver

1. Mike Wallace

2. Brian Hartline

3. Jarvis Landry

4. Rishard Matthews

5. Damian Williams

With the signing and drafting of multiple receivers, I believe that Brandon Gibson is the odd man out of the group. Williams is the biggest competition to Gibson and Williams can contribute on special teams and is a bigger bodied receiver which is why he gets the nod. Gibson is also coming off of an injury and we will not know how he will perform. He may be one of the last cut in the preseason if he does not perform as he did before the injury.

Tight End

1. Charles Clay

2. Dion Simms

3. Michael Egnew

4. Arthur Lynch

Say what you want about Egnew like he’s a bust or cannot block but I believe he deserves one more year with Lazor under the helm. And no more of this using him as a H-back or Tight End. If used right he can be much like a Jimmy Graham as he can be split out wide or in the slot. That’s where he produced in college and he can produce like so in the NFL.

Offensive Tackle

1. Brandon Albert

2. Juwan James

3. Nate Gardner

4. Jason Fox

Pretty simple here. Gardner and Fox holding up the backup spots. Gardner to me is more of a Guard, but with his versatility he possesses he can back up our Tackle spots, Guard spots, and Center if need be.

Offensive Guard

1. Dallas Thomas

2. Shelly Smith

3. Billy Turner

4. Evan Finkenberg

Again pretty simple. With Turner hopefully getting the start on one side Thomas and Smith will battle it out at the second spot. Then Finkenberg as a nice project for John Benton.

1. Mike Pouncey

2. Tyler Larson

Since Brenner gets kicked, Larson gets the nod to back up the All-Pro.

Offense: 26 Players

Defensive Tackle

1. Randy Starks

2. Jared Odrick

3. Earl Mitchell

4. Anthony Johnson

We have a great rotation for the meaty part of our Defense.

Defense End

1. Cameron Wake

2. Olivier Vernon

3. Dion Jordan

4. Terrence Fede

Our deepest position of the team adds someone new to the rotation from last year. If Fede goes to a big school and put up similar numbers he would be a 3-4thrd pick.

Outside Linebacker

1. Dannell Ellerbe

2. Philip Wheeler

3. Jelani Jenkins

4. Jason Trusnik

Deep position as well that leaves much to desire. Ellerbe will go to the outside so he can play more naturally. Wheeler and Jenkins will battle it out for the second spot. The latter of the two and Trusnik will play special teams.

Middle Linebacker

1. Koa Misi

2. Jordan Tripp

Misi is forced inside as the coaches want and I believe we found out second coming of Zach Thomas with Tripp.

1. Brent Grimes

2. Jamar Taylor

3. Cortland Finnegan

4. Will Davis

5. Walk Aikens

6. Deion Belue

The Finnegan vs. Taylor matchup will be one of the most exciting to watch aside from the WR position and Jensen vs. Devlin.

Free Safety

1. Louis Delmas

2. Jimmy Wilson

We picked up Delmas to be more productive than Clemons and Wilson stays with the team to be the versatile DB we have always had.

Strong Safety

1. Reshad Jones

2. Michael Thomas

Thomas is a lot more of a Free and more so to a CB, but our hero will stay with the team due to his versatility.

Defense: 24 Players

Special Teams

1. Caleb Sturgis

The kid had the butterflies last year. Give him another year

1. Brandon Fields

Is there really any doubt with this one?

Long Snapper

1. John Denney

There has to be less doubt with this pick.

Special Teams: 3 Players

Total Roster: 53 players

Hopefully I did my math right, but here it is. WR Matt Hazel, DB Deion Belue, RB Mike Gillislee, WR Rantavious Wooten, OT/OG Michael Ola, Hoskins, and WR Davonte Wallace are on the Practice Squad if you guys were wondering.
