2014 NFL Draft Order: Wildcard Playoffs lock in four more picks

USA TODAY Sports

The NFL Draft is still four months away, but the order for it is starting to solidify more and more each week. After this weekend's AFC and NFC Wildcard games, positions 1-24 are now set for May's annual selection process.

With four teams knocked out of the NFL Playoffs over the weekend thanks to the Wildcard Round of play, we now have four more teams locked into position for May's NFL Draft. The remaining eight teams will be slotted as they are eliminated from the Playoffs, or win the Super Bowl.

The Green Bay Packers (21), Philadelphia Eagles (22), Cincinnati Bengals (23), and Kansas City Chiefs (24) all lost over the weekend, making them the four teams to lock into position.

Here's the full draft order, with each team's record and strength of schedule listed. By NFL rules, draft order ties are broken by strength of schedule, followed by division record (if from in the same division), and finally conference record (if from the same conference). If the two teams are still tied, as we see with the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys in the 16th and 17th positions, a coin toss will be held at the Super Bowl to determine which team will select where.

On to the order:

  1. Houston Texans (2-14) - .559
