Dolphins Problems

As is always the case, the problems start at the top, Ross is one of the problems, he doesn't know football and involves himself too much, he is the owner so you can say he has the right, but just because you own a helicopter doesn't mean you can pilot the damn thing. It may be his right to do what he wants because he owns the team but it doesn't make it smart or beneficial to the team, he would help the team by divorcing himself from any and all football related decisions, let the professionals handle it, and if they aren't getting it done then replace them.

Ireland imo should have been fired with Sparano, he has not done a good job of building the team, he gambles too much with draft picks and players, sometimes you are going to take gambles, he just does it too much. It seems to me he just has too big of an ego and thinks he's smarter than everyone else, hence all the gambles.

Philbin has not taken hold of the team, he seems more like an overseer than a HC, as I told my brother, he seems like the dean of a school more than a HC, and teams take on the identity of strong coaches which is why we have no identity. Our inconsistent game readiness all falls directly in his lap and is a reflection of his impact/hold on this team, which seems to be nonexistent and he's had 2 years to put his stamp on this team.

Inconsistent is the only thing you can say about the Fins and above are the reasons why, an owner who doesn't know football, a GM who wants to reinvent the wheel and a HC that doesn't take charge of his team, we can't do anything about the owner except hope he starts doing the right things, he has gotten better than he was when he was proclaiming Henne will be better than Marino and we we're going to win the SB, so we can hope he keeps getting better and makes the right decision by wiping the slate clean, and starting over.
