Playoffs ...? are you kidding me ... playoffs ...?

As a lifelong Dolphin fan, I'm reminded - usually every year - as to how far we really have to go as a cohesive team. It really hit home just today, watching the Colts play the Chiefs. I can't remember the last time our team played at the level that either of those teams operate at. The last time I recall ANY spark was the wildcat (but I have to admit it was fun watching Belichick's frustration during that debut). Taking this team into the playoffs would have been suicidal. Too many holes, an outdated offensive plan, receivers that beg for flags rather than fight for the ball, for starters.

If Tannehill is the guy, then I want to see him taking charge of that offense like #13 did. Drop a ball from Dan, and you were gonna hear about it - a lot - from Dan. Manning does it. Brady does it. It's called leadership. T-hill usually trots off, cracks a smile or two, and then jaws it up with either Hartline or Moore. Heck there might as well be a timeclock on the sideline that he just punches in and out on. And ... you're right ... he's not the only one.

So while we await the (eventual) swing of the owner's axe let's be clear. I don't really know how you fix the problem with our team. The team is heartless, pure and simple. And I'm afraid that Stephen Ross will never get this.
