IF I WAS HIRED AS NEW GM !!

if i was hired as the new gm i already know my coaching staff and quarterback is no area of change.

second i look at both o-line and d-line.on the D side im going to let Randy Starks walk and offer a hometown deal for Soliai if he's looking to cash out i dont mind him walking out the door im also looking at Cam Wake to reconstruct his deal but not pushing the issue.on the o-line i'm staring at a huge hole and im giving everyone walking papers but Dallas Thomas Mike Pouncey Jonathan Martin only if he's still not depressed and i will offer a very low offer to John Jerry only using Martin and Jerry for depth.im not looking towards free agents to fill my needs here depending on if we keep Soliai if he walks im thoughing offers at bj Raji,Terrence Cody,Tyson Jackson,Linval Joseph will want bank so i dont see him,Cam Thomas all depending on contract and money but im not breaking the back here.

now along the o-line im looking for change as i see a glaring issue as im not waiting for the draft to roll around im trowing money here and i'm landing a few names Branden Albert is on my list of must haves if not already franchise tagged or Eugene Monroe one of these guys will not get tagged and who ever hits the market im throwing money..i'm still not done i solved LT moving to RT and my first look is Michael Oher say what you will but i dont see a big contract and he's been a solid starter with flexable options.im still not done dipping in the free agent pool im also calling Eben Britton or/and Chris Williams to fill in guard spot both can play both RG and LG but also have games at RT.

next im looking at playmakers for Ryan Tannehill to let loose on with new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor im sticking with my 3 tight ends Charles Clay,Michael Egnew,Dion Sims and letting Dustin Keller walk slowly keyword.im also keeping my 3 running backs Michael Gillislee,Lamar Miller,Daniel Thomas.no changes here i am banking on my reloaded line will save alot of these guys jobs and there all cheap and not worth cutting at this point.

Now wide out i'm going to make the fans mad im going to trade Brian Hartline for a high 2nd low 3rd round pick and free up some cap space also looking to cut Brandon Gibson if he wont rework his deal keeping Mike Wallace on a short lease and i will be looking towards the draft and im drafting in the first round one of 3 names from first to last depending on how they fall Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M,Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina,Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State, anyone of these guys is on my list at 19 but im drafting a weapon for Lazor to use.

then i look at the next biggest hole.....Linebacker...i'm seeing a bunch of money there and no one worth spending on so im looking to trade or cut doesnt matter will take the cap hit on this but will make a statement towards other players but Linebacker is getting a new makeover cutting/trading for nothing Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler both dont care had a shot didnt pan out sorry and im giving Jelani M. Jenkins and Koa Misi a shot at ether inside or outside also going to call and try to bring in a couple low costing vets to come in and battle for a starting spot names like Jon Beason,Michael Boley,Donald Butler but might not hit market or might want paid,Rocky McIntosh,Keith Rivers,Brandon Spikes,Jonathan Vilma,D.J. Williams, all these names will be free agents i will bring in at least two of these names and also im going to throw a curve ball and bring in Taylor Mays to try out cheap and could fill in backup safety back up nickle linebacker and special team player.

i could look toward the draft to fill in one of these 3 holes but depending on who falls i could fill other needs rome wasnt built in a day and i feel i have enough in house pure talent i can survive at linebacker.....

next is secondary and im looking at two young rookies with ? marks written on there face Brent Grimes is a must have if i cant work a deal i will tag him and i will be cutting Dimitri Patterson and letting Nolan and Jimmy walk and test free agent pool i will also look to bring in a cheaper contract but not dropping coin on a couple names but just depends on who i get for my dollar is Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie,DeAngelo Hall,Vontae Davis,Antoine Cason,Mike Jenkins anyone of these names that wants to come in and battle are rookies for the #2 spot and also looking to plug in a CB hybrid playmaker to shut down the deep threat and allow Reshad Jones to free roam and play more in the box im looking to bring in Michael Huff,Quentin Jammer,Malcolm Jenkins,Major Wright or even another curve ball could get for cheap is Antonio Cromartie to try and plug in at FS and i will also look toward the draft but will have one of these vets come in.

after all the cutting and bringing in vets heres my draft board i'll give 3 picks at each pick depending on how the draft flows.

1st round Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M,Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina,Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State,

2nd round Marcus Roberson, CB, Florida Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee David Yankey, G/OT, Stanford Loucheiz Purifoy, CB, Florida i gave four here could be nether of these could all be off board in that case i would look at Dion Bailey, S, USC Christian Jones, LB, Florida State Lamarcus Joyner, S, Florida State

3rd round Dominique Easley, DE, Florida Telvin Smith, OLB, Florida State De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon

4th round: Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor Daniel McCullers, NT, Tennessee Will Sutton, DT, Arizona State

and the rest of the picks are roster fill in spots

then the one guy i havent talked about is how am i going to get Dion Jordan on the feild?

all depending on how my free agent signing and draft goes but your going to see him on the feild most likely with his hands up covering tight ends and hands down on nickels and dimes but will see him plugged in all over the feild.

i think that just about does it let me know what you guys think and if i make or break it as your new gm.
