Miami defeated both teams involved in the trade in their home stadiums.
Looks to me like panic moves by both sides. Something to this affect "holy smokes we lost to Miami at home!!! WTF??..... we need to do something major and FAST!!!" ...... instead of thinking "hey Miami is pretty good, they have really improved, hey it's a long season, let’s go get a win"
What is your take on who got the better of this one?
The obvious verdict would be the Colts because they get a top 3 overall guy for a first rounder likely somewhere not higher than the maybe 20 overall (??).
But seriously how bad does it have to be when the new Cleveland GM and HC look at a top 3 RB and say ...."nah, would rather have the 25th overall in '14"?
I think Cleveland is making sure they have ammo to get a franchise QB in '14 and there is nothing wrong with that strategy ..... except for the fact that when you seemingly pull the carpet on a season before week 3 ..... from a fan point of view that has to hurt and hurt pretty bad.
