Indianapolis, it was so different from Cleveland on so many different levels. Completely different experience from top to bottom. Not once did I see the middle finger. Not once did somebody try to verbally ( or physically ) beat me down. Handshakes and well wishes were the order of the day. Not once or twice, but over & over. I have to say as a veteran of many games I can't remember the last time I felt this welcomed into an opposing stadium. I believe whatever measures that were implemented to make visitors for the Super Bowl feel welcome has carried over. Asking to pose for photos is nothing new, but usually this by our fans,....in our stadium. So I was slightly taken back upon walking into & while hanging out in stadium's main plaza on how many pics I posed for,.....with Colts fans. Once one camera came out, several more soon followed. It was almost like I had to escape to my seat,....weird.
But not as weird as this is. They say good girls like bad boys,....and every guy wants two blondes on either arm. However,....this is not what I had in mind.
After some light conversation with their Mother, the cutie on the left became infatuated with the orange in my outfit. I then mention that my Dolphin karma is strong, but promised I wouldn't convert her to Indy's newest Dolfan.
Good times ! Nothing but good times,......you see soon enough !
