Jaguars vs Dolphins weather report: Rain in the forecast

Miami Dolphins running back Marcus Thigpen (34) returns a kick off in the rain against the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth quarter at Sun Life Stadium - Robert Mayer-US PRESSWIRE

The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars could find themselves playing in some rainy weather tonight.

The Miami Dolphins have traveled north to face the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight in the first full weekend of the NFL Preseason.  Of course, Jacksonville is still Florida, so the chance for rain during the game still exists.

Tonight's contest has a 20% chance of rain.  The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the area, with "isolate to scatted thunderstorms" possible with gusty winds and frequent lightning.

The full National Weather Service forecast reads: A 20 percent chance of showers before 10pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 78. South wind 5 to 11 mph.

Assuming there is no rain, the weather sounds like it will actually be a rather good night for a football game.

Here's the radar look for Jacksonville as of 5:40pm ET from the NWS:
