Saints vs Dolphins: Miami sits starters

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins are sitting their starters tonight against the New Orleans Saints. The final preseason game of the year is typically a chance to see the deep players on the roster, and that's what the Dolphins will do tonight.

The Miami Dolphins are taking the field against the New Orleans Saints tonight, with most of their starters staying on the sideline.  In fact, the only starter expected to take the field is guard John Jerry, who has missed most of the preseason with an injury.  Starting at quarterback tonight will be third string quarterback Pat Devlin.

Before the game, head coach Joe Philbin said the team will also take a look at fourth quarterback Aaron Corp during the game.
