Not sure that WR is a position that we should be that worried about (Who would've thought those words would've been passing these lips just a few months removed from last seasons WR corps??) but should the Fins have any interest in bringing in former Hurricane WR standout Tommy Streeter in for a look. Streeter, a guy a lot of us liked coming out of college has just been cut by the Ravens, where he ended his tenure without a single catch..Not exactly awe-inspiring stuff, but he's a talented guy, and even more than that, he's a 6'5", 215 pound talented guy.
Since losing both Armon Binns & Dustin Keller, we've lost a couple of guys who would've given us some decent options inside the red-zone..Something we could really use, as evidenced by our ineptitude on our first drive last night - The drive was a thing of beauty; 16 plays, 8 1/2 minutes, some nice runs & passes to extend the drive..That is until we got the ball first & goal inside the 10..Then lo & behold, it was deja vu all over again and with the help of a penalty we ran like 6 or 7 plays inside the 10 before finally settling on a paltry extra-point length FG! Unacceptable!! Sure could've used a 6'5" 215 pound target!
I know we need a TE, maybe a couple of Guards or a backup Tackle more than another WR..But should we at least do our due-diligence and bring Streeter in for a look-see??
