Sources: The Dolphins are working on finalizing a deal with Tyson Clabo. He has emerged as their choice at right tackle.— Barry Jackson (@flasportsbuzz) May 5, 2013
The Dolphins have decided to sign Tyson Clabo. Clabo has been a consistent top-5 right tackle for most of his career. He was a salary cap casualty of the Atlanta Falcons. Clabo's agent confirms it is a one year deal that gives the team the flexibility to move on to a different option at tackle next year. Clabo almost certainly would win a "competition" at right tackle, meaning the competition at left tackle is between Jonathan Martin, Dallas Thomas, and Will Yeatman, which Martin is likely to win.
