This mock is solely based on the idea of Miami trading the 54th overall pick for Branden Albert (and him coming to his senses and realizing he isn't worth that kind of money). I must also admit that I did fall victim to the idea of Tavon Austin or Tyler Eifert at 12 but after fighting with the idea I've come to the conclusion that all that glitters is not gold. So this draft I think will be based on filling needs that will allow us to make a good playoff run.
Round 1 (TRADE :- we trade our 12th pick to the Minnesota Vikings for their 23rd and 52nd pick)
so at 23 we take :- OG Jonathan Cooper (*remember we now have Albert, Icognito, Pouncy, Jerry, and Martin)
thats a solid offensive line to me.
at 42 we take:- DE Tank Carradine (great speed off the edge opposite Cam Wake)
at 52 we take:- CB B.W. Webb
at 77 we take:- CB David Amerson (I like the idea of doubling up on CB's in this draft because of the depth)
at 82 we take:- DE Corey Lemonier (I'm from the school that you can never have enough DE's)
I left TE out of my first 3 rounds because I'm not going to rush and condemn Michael Egnew. He did come out as a junior and has to have some sort of talent to be taken in the 3rd.
It's my first try, tell me what you guys think.
