Tavon Austin will be our Randall Cobb
I was thinking about the possibility of drafting Austin when a player that the Packers drafted and Philbin coached for a year popped in my head: Randall Cobb. I think both can be used the same exact way, with Austin being much kore explosive with the ball in his hands.
In Cobb's rookie year, he had 25 receptions for 371 yards and a TD, which was solid for a reduced role in all of the weapons the Packers had. He also returned a punt and kickoff for a touchdown, which Austin can be used in as well. Plus both can rush from the backfield very well. How about size? Cobb is 5'10" and 192 lbs. Austin is 5'8" 173 lbs and with a year in the weight took can get to 180-185.
