The Miami Dolphins have landed their biggest free agent target, former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace. The team has been rumored to be the front runner for Wallace for the last week, and today they made it official. How do you feel about the move?
The Dolphins needed to add a wide receiver to their group headlined by Brian Hartline and Davone Bess, and they did that today. Wallace spent the first four years of his career with the Steelers, catching 235 passes for 4,042 yards, with 32 touchdowns. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2011.
Wallace will not be the top wide receiver for Miami, with Hartline and Bess taking the number two and slot positions, respectively. Behind the top three, the Dolphins also have Armon Binns, Rishard Matthews, Jeff Fuller, and Brian Tyms on the roster.
Was signing Wallace the right move for the Dolphins? Vote in the poll below, and feel free to comment as well.
(And, yes, I am aware this will be one of our most lopsided polls ever.)
