Jim Brown-US PRESSWIRE

NFL free agency is officially underway, with teams now able to sign any player with an expiring contract from last year. We’ve heard rumors for the last few weeks, with the Dolphins targeting several different players this week. But, who will be the first free agent the team signs?

The Miami Dolphins are off and running, along with the rest of the NFL, as the clock reaches 4pm ET and the NFL's 2013 free agency period begins. After weeks of rumors and speculation, the time has come and the Dolphins can start executing their plan to sign free agents. But, who will be first?

Will it be wide receiver Mike Wallace, the presumed top target for the team, and the player who, unofficially, had a "done deal" with the Dolphins during the 72-hour pre-negotiating period? Maybe it will be tight end Jared Cook, who the team was rumored to be discussing over the past few days . What about re-signing someone like Anthony Fasano? Will the team really pursue, and sign, running back Rashard Mendenhall?

What do you think? Who will be first?
